Composition
- Absorbent core: two fluff pads of 100 % long-fibre, chlorine-free cellulose, the smaller one centred in the crotch for comfort; sodium polyacrylate superabsorbent, non-allergenic, locks liquid and odours.
- Acquisition layer (100 % polypropylene, very soft) that keeps the skin dry; hypoallergenic nonwoven coverstock.
- Raised hydrophobic leak guards; triple-layer breathable back sheet (hydrophilic polypropylene, non-toxic polyethylene, soft polypropylene).
- Triple wetness indicator that fades when wet; non-toxic hot-melt adhesive; latex-free elastics (two tight threads on the leak guards, three on each leg cuff) and elastic back waistband; four wide stretch tabs, 80 % hook-and-loop, 20 % adhesive.
Absorbency: minimum values measured with water (Rothwell, ISO 11948-1), indicative; real retention with urine is lower. Weights ± 5 %.
